Future Says ‘F*ck Russell’ Wilson on Quavo Collaboration “Turn Yo Clic Up”

The rapper was previously engaged to Ciara, who is married to the Denver Broncos quarterback. He also rapped about his ex Lori Harvey on the new song.

Future is featured on Quavo's new song "Turn Yo Clic Up," which includes a diss directed at Russell Wilson, who is married to the 39-year-old's ex-fiancée Ciara.

Future doesn't mince words in his opening bars on the track's second verse. "I ball in his mall for my brothers/Goyard bag, tote the Corduory/I got it out the field, fuck Russell," he raps in a not-so-subtle barb targetting the Denver Broncos quarterback, who married Ciara in 2016.

Future has a son with Ciara and they got engaged in 2013. The following year, however, they split over his alleged infidelity. In an interview on Red Table Talk in 2019, the singer spoke about her decision to walk away from the relationship. "I think if you sit in situations that are unhealthy or you let them linger too long, you start to lose yourself. I don't like crying all the time," she told Jada Pinkett Smith. "I don't like being sad. So I'm like, 'How do I get out of this? Because I like being happy.'"

The couple recently celebrated their seventh anniversary with a vacation in Japan. "My heart is complete and full of gratitude for the love we share. I have everything I want and need in you," Ciara wrote in a post shared last week. "Happy 7th Anniversary @DangeRussWilson. Thank you for loving me the way you do. I love you so much."

This isn't the first time Future has taken shots at Wilson and his ex, with whom he had an extended custody battle over their son. In a 2019 interview on Beats 1, the rapper claimed Ciara introduced his son to Wilson before Future agreed to it.

"He do exactly what she tell him to do," Future said.

He also claimed Wilson should be a "man" and make sure Ciara never mentions his name in public. "He not being a man in that position," he said. "He not tellin' her, 'Chill out with that on the internet. Don't even talk to him. I'm your husband! You better not even bring Future's name up!' If that was me, she couldn't even bring his name up. She know that. She couldn't even bring her exes' names up. I don't [care] what they gave you. ... Don't give that shit no energy."

The couple seemingly replied by dismissing his comments.

Wilson and Ciara have two children together and have joint custody of Future Jr., who was given a Rolex by the rapper for his fifth birthday.

Wilson is not the only person Future had some choice words for on the new track. After dissing Wilson raps, "Go and ask Lori about the Patek, then go and ask Jordan ask Dess," in reference to his exes Lori Harvey and Dess Dior. Future previously dissed Harvey on the 42 Dugg song "Maybach" by referring to her father and rapping, “Tell Steve Harvey I don’t want her.”
