Marvel’s Avengers series and every superhero within it has had the box offices on smash. Throughout the past decade, the Avengers movies have become evolving surefire hits in the cinema world, breaking multiple records by bringing Stan Lee’s comics to the live-action big screen. The now Disney-sponsored superteam includes Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Ant-Man, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Guardians of the Galaxy, Dr. Strange, and the newly added Spider-Man in the movie portrayals. However in the actual comics, the Avengers roster is way deeper and bridges even more universes that bring characters like the X-Men’s Wolverine into the fold. The first phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe started with Iron Man in 2008, starring Robert Downey Jr. And from its success, the MCU expanded with movies for Captain America, Thor, and Hulk; giving a core four to the gang. At the end of the last decade, we saw Marvel get bought by Disney; yet another power move for the company. The now Kevin Fiege-directed Avengers movies continued to sprout, adding even more superheroes to the team that would go on to get chopped in half, and then resurrected once again. That may be confusing, but only if you somehow happened to miss Spidey’s debut in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. After an epic battle with Thanos, the Avengers disbanded as a result of the war. But these are superheros we’re talking about: they’ll be embarking on a new quest soon and our eyes will surely be peeled.
