Lil Uzi Vert earned their third No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with Pink Tape.

According to Billboard, Uzi's third studio album racked up 167,000 equivalent album units, of which 154,000 units consisted of SEA units, equaling 210.4 million on-demand streams. The remaining sum was comprised of 11,000 in album sales and 2,000 TEA (track equivalent album) units.

Pink Tape becomes the first hip-hop album to claim the top spot on the Billboard 200 this year. The genre had been going through its longest drought since 1993. The last hip-hop album to reach No. 1 on the chart was Metro Boomin's Heroes & Villains in late December. The Hot 100 has yet to see a rap song on top in 2023.

Uzi shared a post from Metro's Instagram Stories acknowledging their accomplishment.

Uzi also became only the 14th artist ever to have 100 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 after 18 tracks off Pink Tape debuted on the chart. "Flooded the Face" leads the pack at No. 11, followed by the Nicki Minaj-assisted "Endless Fashion" at No. 20 and "Suicide Doors" at No. 25.

With the debut of Pink Tape at No. 1, is it safe to assume that Luv Is Rage 3 is on the way? Prior to the release of their latest album, Uzi proposed that if Pink Tape finishes atop the Billboard 200, "I will drop the album The album yall really looking for."
