After years of speculation regarding their sexuality, Lil Uzi Vert has set the record straight on the Pink Tape track "Flooded the Face."

In the opening song of the album, Uzi made sure that there are no misconceptions about their sexuality. "First of all, I fuck eight bitches a day," raps Uzi, who is gender-nonconforming and uses they/them pronouns, in the first verse of the record. "How could you ever say Lil Uzi Gay? / Fuck four of 'em raw, fuck four of 'em safe."

It's not the only moment where they brag about their sex life and address rumors regarding their sexuality on the album, however. "I'm fucking the dogshit out of this bitch, her wig came off twice," they rap on the brief song "Spin Again," which was debuted at the 2023 BET Awards. "She had a lil 'fro, she look like Ice Spice / She call me lil' bro, fuckin' on models in Vogue / N****s, they thought I was gay, but I do not know how to vogue."

Uzi has been in a relationship with JT of City Girls since at least 2019, but that has not stopped speculation regarding their sexuality due to the gender-nonconforming way they present themselves. Uzi even shouts out JT on multiple tracks on the album, including on "Mama I'm Sorry" where they rap, "My bitch so bad, yeah my bitch, she a felon."

Despite this, it appears as though the couple might have gotten into an argument recently after Uzi allegedly flirted with Ice Spice at the 2023 BET Awards. In a video that purports to show JT throwing a phone at the rapper, a woman could be heard asking Uzi, "What the fuck wrong with you, bitch?" Uzi was seated next to Ice Spice during the award show, during which they also performed "Spin Again," which features a reference to sleeping with a woman who "look like Ice Spice." Sources close to JT told TMZ that she was simply annoyed after she lost her seat, and she "loves" Ice Spice.

In an interview with 032c magazine recently, per HipHopDX, Uzi addressed the decision to change their pronouns and shared their appreciation for LGBTQ+ fans. "Taking the time to figure out who you are is a big part of what it means to be alive. Once you figure out whether you’re here with it, there with it, or both, you’re not alone anymore," they said. "This community offers access to a certain kind of support that you might not have had [previously during] your entire life because you weren’t raised that way. I come from a household where it’s not okay to be ‘non’ anything."

To coincide with the release of Pink Tape, Uzi reunited with Nardwuar for another interview, which they didn't run away from this time. In the interview, Uzi referred to Nardwuar as one of their "best friends" and invited him to visit their home.
