As previously mentioned, the Detroit rapper took to Instagram earlier in the day to post a short clip of a new song. He also tagged Marvel's upcoming Venom movie in the post, leading many to believe the track would end up on the film's soundtrack. Hours later and the track appeared on Kamikaze, with a note indicating that it is "music from the motion picture." Kamikaze was executive produced by both Dr. Dre and Eminem. According to Spotify, the album features production from Mike WiLL Made-It, Ronny J, Boi-1da, Tay Keith, and others. It also lists Kendrick Lamar and Top Dawg Entertainment CEO Anthony Tiffith as songwriters on the track "Greatest."

Eminem's last album Revival, which dropped in December of 2017, boasted features from Beyoncé, Alicia Keys, X Ambassadors, Skylar Grey, Kehlani, Pink, Phresher, and Ed Sheeran.
