Cardi B was quick to amplify praises of Offset’s forward-thinking style this weekend after catching wind of a Twitter user’s commentary.

“Man wtf do these n****s be wearing???” read the tweet in question, which was quickly removed and appeared to be a response to a BET-shared clip of the Migos member performing in a white oversized Raf Simons sweater with red pants. In response, Cardi noted that some people “talk shit,” only to later emulate the exact same looks.

“He puttin that shit on!!” the “Up” artist wrote. “Y’all talk shit first then these rappers start wearing it.”

Of course, fashion criticism of this variety can often be traced back to people who have never made a bold stylistic choice in their lives. Still, the comment received attention, including from Cardi fans.

Later, Cardi shouted out a fan who was complimentary of Offset’s outfit and had accurately highlighted the aforementioned Raf Simons sweater.

Ouuuu you know your shit 💪🏽

When sharing the same Raf sweater-featuring clip to his IG, Offset teased that new music was indeed on the way.

This month, Vogue highlighted a recent Cardi B post featuring styling by Offset in their Best Fashion IGs of the Week coverage, with the publication praising the latter’s choices as part of the “absolutely fantastic” look for Cardi.

Last month, Cardi spoke with Complex amid coverage of her Starco Brands deal and the launch of her Whipshots product. While the bulk of the discussion focused on the vodka-infused whipped cream and her other recent business ventures, Cardi also shared some thoughts on the positive impact of her fanbase, particularly amid moments of heightened online negativity.

“And every single time I feel like the whole world is against me, they let me know that, no, there’s still a whole group of people that love the fuck out of me,” she said at the time.
