Fresh off of winning the NCAA Women’s Basketball National Championship, LSU stars Angel Reese and Flau’jae Johnson stopped by the Breakfast Club to discuss how their lives have changed since leading the Tigers to the first national championship in school history.

While speaking about the high-profile athletes and entertainers who’ve reached out since March Madness, Reese revealed that Drake and Future have slid into her DMs. “You said two that you need to stay far away from,” Charlamagne tha God joked.

“They just congratulated me. It’s all congratulations,” Reese clarified, before DJ Envy mentioned that Drizzy might invite her over to shoot hoops at his at-home basketball court in Toronto.

“Then Drake gonna say, ‘Yo, you know I got a basketball court at the crib?’ Did he say that yet?” Envy asked. While they didn’t necessarily answer Envy’s question, Reese and Johnson looked at one another and broke out in laughter, so take from that what you will.

Drake and Future aren’t the only rappers who’ve lent their support to Reese. Earlier this month, Tony Yayo came to Angel’s defense after the LSU star sparked backlash after using the G-Unit rapper’s iconic “You Can’t See Me” gesture while taunting Iowa’s Caitlin Clark during LSU’s national championship win.

“Any kind of sports, talking trash is a part of the game,” Yayo told TMZ Sports. “I mean, it was for the championship game. It’s competition. Even when I’m playing 2k — if you playin’ in the game, with video games, we get excited. You know?”

Yayo continued, “It’s just a dance. I don’t take nothin’ personal. It was a dance I created because I was trying to hide from the police. But shout out to all them people — John Cena, Angel Reese, Caitlin Clark — and definitely Flavor Flav. But Angel Reese? You know, she took the ‘U Can’t C Me’ dance to a whole ‘nother level.”
