Ice Cube on Clyde Frazier Saying LeBron 'Doesn’t Really Care': 'Bulls**t'

TMZ Sports recently caught up with Ice Cube as he tried to make a quick getaway out of the airport. In the brief time that he had to offer, Cube expressed some uncertainty regarding what to make of the Oakland Raiders in their upcoming 2019 campaign following a barrage of offseason moves, including the acquisition of star wide receiver Antonio Brown.

Cube’s most notable comment, however, came in response to the criticisms from MSG color commentator Walt "Clyde" Frazier towards LeBron James during Sunday’s Lakers/Knicks game. As James sat on the last seat on the bench, staying a safe distance away from the team huddle, Frazier expressed doubt regarding whether The King even cared anymore, and questioned his role as a leader of the team.

"Does LeBron care? That's bullsh*t," Cube responded before getting into his vehicle. What Cube may not understand is that the version of LeBron we’re currently seeing is someone who will not be in the playoffs for the first time since 2005. His comments after yesterday’s 124-123 loss where he referred to his team and the Knicks as "two teams out of the postseason" only supported Clyde’s assessment of his demeanor as the Lakers close out the 2018-19 season.

It also makes sense that Cube would defend James, especially since their paths recently crossed when Cube appeared on an episode of the HBO series The Shop, which is executive produced by LeBron. Regardless of who is to blame for the Lakers' season-long struggles, LeBron's actions have spoken louder than words.
