Dallas area authorities have arrested 32-year-old Keith Johnson for his alleged connection to the murder of former NBA player and BIG3 star Andre Emmett

Capital murder warrants were issued for Johnson and his accomplice, Michael Lucky, according to the local NBC affiliate. Johnson is currently being held on unrelated charges while Lucky is still at-large. Emmett was shot to death outside of his Dallas home in Sept. The incident appeared to have been a robbery gone awry and was caught on camera by two separate Nest home surveillance cameras. In the footage, the two suspects are heard ordering Emmett to exit his Range Rover. They then tell him "don't move" and "we want everything." This prompted the athlete to try to flee the scene. He is then shot in the back by one of the assailants.

Currently, it is unclear which suspect is the alleged trigger man. After the shooting, the suspects fled the scene in a white Chrysler 300. A passer-by called emergency responders after seeing the wounded Emmett. The athlete was taken to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The Dallas police have issued a $5,000 reward for information leading to Lucky's arrest.
