Lil Tjay and Ice Spice Claim They Aren't Dating Despite $150,000 Watch Gift

Lil Tjay and Ice Spice deny rumors that they're dating, even after Tjay bought her a $150,000 Richard Mille watch and gifted it to her on Valentine's Day.

Apparently it’s not a big deal when friends gift friends hundred thousand dollar watches—even on Valentine’s Day.

TMZ reports that Lil Tjay gave Ice Spice a $150,000 Richard Mille watch on Tuesday. Benny the Jeweler shared on Instagram that the watch Tjay selected is an RM-05 Rose Gold timepiece with a white wristband.

Both rappers have denied that they’re dating and that it was just a friendly gesture from Tjay to commemorate their collaboration “Gangsta Boo” making it to the Billboard Hot 100. The track became Ice Spice’s first entry on the chart, which debuted at No. 82 in early February. Tjay’s feature was the sole guest appearance on Ice’s debut EP Like..?

Insiders also confirmed to TMZ that Ice and Tjay aren’t together. That makes sense given a recent conversation she had with Ebro Darden about her dating life: “I be even having to struggle to find time for myself really,” she explained. “So, how I’m going to find time for somebody else? Even for family and friends, and myself, I’m still like that little bit of time that I be having on the side is for them and me. N***as come last.”

The pair planned to shoot the “Gangsta Boo” video in mid-January, however, Tjay was arrested for gun possession at the New York City shoot and later charged. Ice then decided to shoot the visual for “In Ha Mood” instead.
