Harry Styles’ “As It Was” holds the most streamed song of the year, beating out “Heat Waves” by Glass Animals, “Cold Heart – PNAU Remix” by Elton John, “Stay” by The Kid Laroi and Justin Bieber, and “First Class” by Jack Harlow

“Stay” wound up being the most streamed song involving a Canadian artist and finished in third for the most-streamed song globally.

Harry Styles’ Canadian dominance continued with Harry’s House holding the top spot for the most-streamed album in Canada. He edges out by Ed Sheeran, Midnights by Taylor Swift, Dawn FM from The Weeknd, and Olivia Rodrigo’s 2021 album Sour.

The most-streamed album by a Canadian artist belongs to The Weeknd, whose album Dawn FM dominated both Canadian and global charts, winding up at the fourth spot in the most-streamed albums globally list.
