Angel Reese will be the first professional athlete to walk the Victoria's Secret runway when the lingerie brand has its fashion show next month.
The WNBA player, who attended last year's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, made the announcement on Thursday (Oct. 9), revealing to her social media following that she would make VS history.
The runway event will be held on Oct. 15 in New York City at 7 p.m. ET and will be available to stream live on Prime Video and the Victoria's Secret social channels.
"Stepping into a dream: From Angel to a Victoria Secret ANGEL," Reese tweeted. "I’m finally getting my wings 🪽 I’ll be walking the Victoria’s Secret 2025 runway show for the first time, and it feels like destiny. ✨ Wings on, heels ready…Catch me on the runway💗"
Social account Athlete Vanity recalled a 2024 Instagram Story where Reese shared her intention to walk a future Victoria's Secret show.
"MANIFESTING ALL GREAT THINGS!" the Chicago Sky star wrote in a repost.
While Reese will be the only athlete on the runway during the VS fashion show, the catwalk will see no shortage of big names: Missy Elliott, Karol G, Madison Beer, and TWICE are slated to perform.
Also walking the event as VS Angels are a mix of veterans and new faces including Alex Consani, Adriana Lima, Joan Smalls, and Anok Yai.
