Jim Carrey has always been the GOAT, but lately he's been entertaining us with a different art form than quirky comedies. Quietly moving within the shadows, Carrey makes himself known only to send out sporadic, yet expertly-timed tweets of social commentary or his politically-charged original paintings.

Recently, the legendary comedian took to Twitter to express his distaste for the NFL, and its recent decision regarding players' rights to kneel during the national anthem. Carrey's aversion to Trump is nothing new; he's been creating satirical artwork to convey his true feelings for some time now, but this time he's calling out the National Football League for what he deems as their "moral cowardice" for siding with Trump.

Carrey's shared his latest piece that depicts an angry-looking Trump shouting from behind a podium with various major NFL-sponsored company logos as a background. Along with the provocative image, he accused the NFL, "who exploits players for 3yrs then abandons them to a lifetime of pain," of siding with "a draft-dodging racist who uses fake patriotism to squash peaceful protest." Go off, Jim.

The 56-year-old actor and artist then called out corporations for continuing to back the league in light of its recent position. Carrey held nothing back, accusing these corporations of supporting "moral cowardice" and questioning where their intentions truly lie.

Plenty of people are rightfully pretty P. O'd over the NFL's stance on players kneeling, but Carrey's painting and words illustrate an even bigger picture that links the capitalist organization to an even bigger network of complacent accomplices.

Take a look through Carrey's Twitter feed for more of the political artwork that makes us love him even more.
