With Nope, out this summer, Jordan Peele and Daniel Kaluuya are reuniting for one of the most anticipated horror entries of 2022.

An official trailer for Universal-distributed Monkeypaw Productions entry, which also stars Keke Palmer and Steven Yeun, was released back in February and has been playing ahead of a number of recent theatrical releases to (as anyone who’s experienced this can attest) truly dazzling effect. Now, a new promo clip has been shared featuring Steph Curry.

The teaser, shared Saturday, sees the Golden State Warriors point guard walking onto a court, hitting play on a record, and throwing up a shot. Just as the latter takes place, however, Curry is made quite aware that something ominous is afoot. Catch the full 30-second spot above.

As Peele revealed in a recent Empireinterview, Kaluuya—who previously worked with the director in Get Out—was already in his mind as the ideal choice for the lead Nope role during the film’s writing process.

“Daniel’s craft is on a different level, but it’s his warmth that grounds audiences even during points of absolute madness,” Peele said of the Oscar-winning actor, per Screen Rant. “You may be watching a nightmare, but when he’s on screen, at least you’ve got your brother with you, and that’s all you need.”

Nope hits a theater near you starting July 22. In the meantime, revisit the official trailer below.
