UPDATED Sept. 5, 5:05 p.m. ET: TMZ has learned that Joe Jonas has filed for divorce from Sophie Turner. He is asking the judge for joint custody of their two daughters. He also wants the judge to establish a parenting plan between him and Sophie that allows for "frequent and continuing contact with both parties."
His petition also mentions that his kids have been residing with him as of late, confirming that Jonas has been taking them on tour. He wants the judge to create a fair split between them, considering things like child support and health insurance for their kids.

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are getting a divorce after four years of marriage, according to a report by TMZ.
Sources have told the outlet that Jonas had his team reach out to at least two divorce lawyers in Los Angeles and is on the verge of signing the papers to end his marriage with Turner. The couple have been going through some "serious problems" for the last six months, TMZ stated.
Joe Jonas has been taking care of the couple's two children "pretty much all of the time," even while he's on tour. Both his children are with him on his trek, performing in cities across the country.
Despite selling the Miami mansion they bought last year, the couple hadn't shown any signs of friction between them in public as they attended multiple events by each other's side. However, the musician hasn't been wearing his wedding ring lately. As Page Six points out, Jonas was last spotted on stage with his ring during the Jonas Brothers’ Chicago concert on Aug. 25.
Last month, Joe Jonas was seen walking around New York City without his ring, but he was later wearing it in an Instagram post of himself and his brothers. TMZ reached out to the couple, but they have yet to respond as of press time.
Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner first got together in 2016 and got engaged the following year. They got married in 2019 and welcomed their first child in 2020, while their second child was born in 2022.
During a recent interview on KIIS FM's Will & Woody radio show, Joe Jonas shared one of his most embarrassing on-stage moments where he pooped on himself.
"I was with a few friends yesterday, and we were just talking about [how] there is a point in your life where, as an adult, you can remember the last time you shit your pants," Jonas said of the incident, which occurred four years ago.
"Let's just say it was a bad day to choose to wear white clothing," he joked. "You think it might be a little toot, it might've been a little something else, a little something extra. So, it was like a mid-wardrobe shit change during the set."
