Days after suffering an undisclosed health scare, Jamie Foxx is still hospitalized as doctors try determine what happened to the actor.

A source close to Foxx told People magazine this week that Jamie remains in a Georgia hospital, where medical staff are “running tests and still trying to figure out what exactly happened.”

Last Wednesday, the 55-year-old’s daughter Corinne revealed that her father was taken to the hospital  on April 11 after experiencing a “medical complication.”

“We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday,” Corinne Foxx wrote on Instagram. “Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time.”

TMZ reported at the time that Foxx’s situation was serious enough where “Jamie’s family—some of whom were not in town—came to the hospital.” The outlet later noted that sources close to the situation confirmed Foxx was successfully communicating and that the actor’s condition continued to improve heading into last weekend.

Foxx had been in Atlanta filming his forthcoming Netflix movie Back in Action, which stars Jamie alongside Cameron Diaz and Glenn Close. However, sources told CNN that Foxx’s medical emergency did not occur while Jamie was on set shooting his scenes.
