Is Netflix trolling?

Within the past couple of months, the streaming giant announced that it was pulling the plug on Marvel's Iron Fist, Luke Cage, and Daredevil series. It was disappointing news, no doubt, but the cancelations sparked concern among MCU fans, who feared Jessica Jones would be next.

Though Netflix hasn't confirmed the fate of Jessica Jones—the second season of its other Marvel series The Punisher premieres next year—the company has posed a hypothetical question about the show's rumored demise. According to a recent Reddit post, Netflix has issued a customer survey concerning the Marvel cancelations. The questionnaire begins: "How disappointed would you be to learn that there was not going to be another season of the following series?" It then lists titles Luke Cage, Daredevil, and—you guessed it—Jessica Jones, all of which came with the following response options: "Very disappointed, moderately disappointed, neutral, not very disappointed, and not at all disappointed."

You can check out part of the survey below.

A redditor noted that Iron Fist also appeared on the questionnaire; however, The Punisher and The Defenders were not mentioned.

It's unclear if Netflix is making light of fan fears, or if it's simply trying to gauge just how popular Jessica Jones truly is. The series, which stars Krysten Ritter as the title character, will enter its third season sometime in 2019. And as we mentioned, The Punisher's second season is expected to hit Netflix at the top of the year (and expect the first teaser next week, though you didn't hear that from us).
