UPDATED 11/30/18, 1:20 p.m. ET: Though Netflix canceled Daredevil, this isn’t the last we'll see of the Marvel character.
On Friday, the comic giant shared a similar sentiment as Netflix, saying “We look forward to more adventures with the Man without Fear in the future,” Deadline reports.
On Thursday, Netflix said, “While the series on Netflix has ended, the three existing seasons will remain on the service for years to come, while the Daredevil character will live on in future projects for Marvel.”
Now, Jessica Jones and The Punisher are the only Marvel series that remain on Netflix. Perhaps, with Marvel’s announcement, we could see the Charlie Cox character appear on the next season of either show.

Netflix has canceled Daredevil after three seasons, Deadlinereports. The show starred Charlie Cox, Deborah Ann, Woll Elden Henson, and Vincent D'Onofrio.
“Marvel’s Daredevil will not return for a fourth season on Netflix,” the company said, per Deadline. “We are tremendously proud of the show’s last and final season and although it’s painful for the fans, we feel it best to close this chapter on a high note. We’re thankful to showrunner Erik Oleson, the show’s writers, stellar crew and incredible cast including Charlie Cox as Daredevil himself, and we’re grateful to the fans who have supported the show over the years. While the series on Netflix has ended, the three existing seasons will remain on the service for years to come, while the Daredevil character will live on in future projects for Marvel.”
The third season of the show premiered back in October.
The news of Daredevil's cancelation comes on the heels of Luke Cage being dropped after two season by the streaming service back in October.
"Unfortunately, Marvel’s Luke Cage will not return for a third season,” Marvel and Netflix said in a statement at the time of the announcement. "Everyone at Marvel Television and Netflix is grateful to the dedicated showrunner, writers, cast and crew who brought Harlem’s Hero to life for the past two seasons, and to all the fans who have supported the series."
No official word yet on the fate of Jessica Jones and The Punisher or if the canceled shows will make their way to Disney's new streaming platform.
