See Nas, Jimmy Kimmel, Mary J. Blige, and More in New Teaser for LeBron’s ‘The Shop’

Episode three of HBO's The Shop debuting this Friday is called "Jimmy Kimmel Breaking Barriers." (Hm...) The episode also features legends like Mary J. Blige, Nas, Ice Cube, and mega-talented screenwriter/producer/actress Lena Waithe, Todd Gurley, as well as LeBron's former Heat teammate Chris Bosh, and of course LeBron himself.

The episode title refers to the fact Kimmel is the first white guy, according to co-producer and host, Maverick Carter, to actually get his hair cut on The Shop. It seems previous caucasian guests Jon Stewart and WNBA star Elena Delle Donne declined to get cut (we don't blame Donne, who probably prefers a specific salon, and Stewart doesn't have much to cut, to be honest). But Kimmel was game, even if it meant at least one ABC executive squirming in their seat about the resulting look.

With such an eclectic cast lined up for the Dec. 21 episode, which airs at 10 p.m. ET, you can be sure a lot of headlines will result from the unfiltered conversations The Shop aims to produce. Remember, Drake used the show's laid-back vibe to speak on normally out-of-bounds topics like his Pusha-T feud and his son, Adonis. We're looking forward to hearing Blige talk about all the bullshit she's had to deal with while putting together such an incredible career, and literally anything Waithe is working on.

Some difficult topics we hope are broached in Friday's episode: Chris Bosh's decision to retire following multiple blood clots, and the issues surrounding safe treatment for professional athletes; Nas on #MeToo and Kelis; Ice Cube on barbershops in any form; and Todd Gurley on the upcoming collective bargaining agreement negotiations between the NFLPA and NFL owners.
