French Montana has dropped the video for his new song “Alcatraz,” and one line on the track in particular sees him suggest he broke “the Kardashian Curse.”

The track is the first preview of the fifth installment of French’s long-running Mac & Cheese mixtape series, and to coincide with its release the New York City rapper has shared a performance video. But it’s the lyrics of the song that are especially notable, with French alluding to the “Kardashian curse” as well as Kanye West’s divorce from Kim Kardashian.

“I feel like Ye through the car crash,” he raps on the song. “Feel like Ye ‘cause me and Ye killed the curse from the Kardashians.” French dated Khloé Kardashian on-again, off-again between 2014 and 2016. Due to the level of fame of the family, many have attributed some of their high-profile splits to the so-called “Kardashian Curse.” There’s no actual evidence to support such a “curse,” or how he and Kanye supposedly broke it, but it’s sure to provoke a response from Khloé in the near future.

The rest of the track is filled with references, too, with shout outs to J. Lo, Kay Flock, and Yo Gotti among others. He alludes to DaBaby’s infamous bowling alley brawl in another line, and references Dr. Dre’s “super cold” performance at the Super Bowl. Perhaps most notably, however, he appears to offer-up his thoughts on Joe Rogan dropping the n-word multiple times on his podcast. “South Bronx, southside with the hitters / Back like Joe Rogan, I ain’t fucking with you n***as,” he raps.
