Lil Yachty had an electrifying moment recently when he performed his viral hit song "Poland" in the country of the same name six times in a row.
Video footage shared by several sources on social media show the Atlanta rapper taking the stage at the Open'er Festival 2023 in Gdynia, Poland, and performing the song. In the clip, the crowd lit up once the track's opening blared throughout the festival speakers.
After the first performance, Yachty treated the crowd to five more renditions of the viral hit song. With each version, the audience erupted alongside the rapper, with multiple moshpits opening up on the festival grounds.
Lil Yachty released "Poland" in October 2022 and became an instant hit. Wiz Khalifa, DDG, Denzel Curry, Drake, Steve Lacy, Offset, and more either referenced the song or shared it on their respective social media pages. It also produced several hilarious memes.
Pierre "Pee" Thomas, Yachty's manager, shared with HipHopDX that the rapper had been formally invited to Poland by the country's prime minister, Mateusz Morawiecki. "Oh shit," Yachty replied, according to screenshots of their texts.
Lil Yachty linked up with Lyrical Lemonade's Cole Bennett for the music video for "Poland." The video finds Lil Boat hanging out on the streets of SoHo in New York City and in the Broadway–Lafayette Street train station. In eight months, the video amassed over 27 million views.
