LeBron James never shies away from pledging his allegiance to the Future Hive, as the Los Angeles Lakers superstar has continuallydisplayed his love for the Atlanta rapper’s music over the years.

On the flip side, Future has drawn inspiration from having LeBron as one of his biggest fans. During a recent appearance on MSNBC’s nightly show The Beat with Ari Melber, Pluto was asked for his thoughts on how it feels “being the soundtrack to so many people’s lives, including LeBron’s big moments.”

.@1future says Lebron James playing his music keeps him going and inspires him: It “gives me inspiration, motivation to stay in the studio.”

“It feel great,” Future said. “It just make keep me going, give me inspiration and motivation to just stay in the studio and keep coming up with different tunes, you know. Making that music.”

He added, “I love when people say certain things about it, and it just inspire me, when they say things about me say things about my career. It definitely inspire me.”

Over the past decade, LeBron’s love for Future has been captured countless times, most notably in 2015, when the then-Cavs legend spent what seemed like the entire summer dancing to Future’s smash hit “March Madness.” That July, when asked by a fan on Twitter to name his favorite song at the moment, LeBron didn’t hesitate to pick the track.

In May 2021, the Rap Caviar Twitter account asked hip-hop heads which rapper deserved a spot on Rap’s 2010s Mount Rushmore alongside Drake, Kendrick Lamar, and J. Cole.

“Future Hendrix,” LeBron wrote back.
