Westside Gunn Drops 'Pray for Paris' Album f/ Tyler the Creator, Freddie Gibbs, and More

Westside Gunn has released his new album Pray for Paris.

The project boasts features from Wale, Joey Badass, Tyler the Creator, Freddie Gibbs, Roc Marciano, Joyce Wrice, Keisha Plum, Cartier A Williams, Boldy James, and Billie Essco. On the production side of things, DJ Premier, Alchemist, Daringer, DJ Muggs, Jay Versace, Tyler, the Creator, and others contributed.  

Before the album was released, Virgil Abloh played the project on Twitch.

Westside made the album in two days in Paris after he was invited to the French capital by Abloh for his Off-White fashion show.

A few days before dropping the album, Westside revealed that he contracted COVID-19 but has since recovered. "I have a confession to Make I’m a Corona Survivor," Westside wrote on IG. "I didn’t want anybody feeling sorry for me I had to thug it out for weeks I didn’t get to see my kids I went to the hospital feeling like I was breathing my last breath the fans and the love I was getting kept me strong."
