Drake and Chris Brown’s new song, “No Guidance” has gone No. 1 on the U.S. Apple Music chart.
Breezy shared the news on Sunday, posting a screenshot of a Chart Data tweet reporting the news.
“Jeeeeeeez....wait till the video drops,” Drake responded as a comment. “Also are we the first mortal enemy duo to go number one on Apple Music?? #guinessbookofrecords.”
The pair’s new song dropped on June 7 and is anticipated to be on Brown’s forthcoming ninth studio album, Indigo, which is slated for release on June 21. Brown's last studio album was 2017's Heartbreak on a Full Moon.
On Monday, Chart Data also tweeted that “No Guidance” had reached No. 1 on the global Apple Music chart.
Like Drake mentioned, he and Brown haven’t always been the best of friends. The two had a very infamous beef that began over Rihanna and later escalated in June 2012 in New York City.
At a now-closed nightclub called W.i.P., Brown decided to send a bottle of champagne over to the Champagne Papi. Drake responded by sending the bottle back, along with a note that reportedly said, “I’m fucking the love of your life.” A full-on brawl then erupted, but now fisticuffs seem to be in the past.
Brown will also be headed on tour with Tory Lanez,Ty Dolla Sign, Joyner Lucas and Yella Beezy. Tickets will go on sale to the general public Friday, June 14. Check out dates and locations for the tour, which will begin in August and end in October, below.
