Lil Uzi Vert has pulled out of the Soundset festival for a second straight time. The fest posted a clearly hurt message on its Instagram about the last-minute cancellation, but added that it was able to secure two replacements for the absent rapper: Lil Nas X and DaBaby.

The Minneapolis fest laid out its grievances while sharing it had secured the "Suge" and "Old Town Road" rappers. Organizers shared how they were willing to give Vert another chance after he cancelled his show at the last minute in 2017. However, the they were burned by the erratic rapper again.

“Back in 2017, Lil Uzi Vert canceled his appearance at Soundset without providing any official statements,” Soundset wrote on Instagram. “This year, we chose to give him the chance to make it up to fans, but unfortunately, he’s just cancelled again without explanation. We immediately began scrambling to fill the empty slot and guarantee an exciting lineup for all in attendance, and we believe we’ve accomplished that by adding not one, but two additional performers to the bill – one will have us all Goin’ Baby and the other will take us on a trip to Old Town Road.”

Vert has yet to respond to the festival's statement. He also hasn't provided an explanation for backing out of the concert yet again.
