During his Friday night Coachella set, Anderson .Paak played the track "Dang!" and dedicated it to both Mac Miller and Nipsey Hussle.

"Dang!" is featured on Mac Miller's fourth studio album The Divine Feminine.

Mac Miller passed away on September 7, 2018 at the age of 26. Nipsey Hussle passed on March 31, 2019 at the age of 33.

"Mac Miller was a humble rock star, he was a rapper's rapper, he was a[n] actor, a comedian, a musical genius [...] Mac Miller was a brother, he was my friend," .Paak said last year at the 2018 BET Hip-Hop Awards. "I loved him and I still love him."

In other news, .Paak dropped off his fourth studio album Ventura on Thursday night. The project boasts features from André 3000, Smokey Robinson, Sonyae Elise, Brandy, Lalah Hathaway, and Jazmine Sullivan. The album also contains posthumous vocals from Nate Dogg.

"I was recording music man. I was just going through just a creative spurt and I recorded this along the same time as Oxnard and we were just recording mad material," .Paak said in an interview with Zane Lowe about the new album. "[…] When we were developing Oxnard, I started seeing Ventura kind of take place too, so simultaneously I started kind of divvying up the songs anSociald being like, 'OK, this is going to go here. This is going to go here.' […] When I was going into it, I felt like one was made to be gritty. One was made to be pretty."
