Quavo mocked a video of Nicki Minaj freaking out over being gifted a Chanel bag during the release party for his Quavo Huncho album. Video from the release party shows a skit where an actress imitates Nicki's excitement in front of a neon sign that reads "Huncho Dreams."

The skit was one of several used to introduce songs, according to people who were at the listening. Obviously, the one that openly mocks Minaj before a song that details a relationship with the rapper is going to be the one that grabs folks attention.

Here's a side-by-side so you can see how strong Quavo's commitment to accuracy was.

Quavo mocked Nicki Minaj in a skit last night when he previewed #HunchoDreams, where he goes into detail about smashing and rejecting Nicki.

The title of "Huncho Dreams" references Nicki's Queen track "Barbie Dreams" and addresses the bad blood between them over the song "Motorsport."

In an interview with Zane Lowe, she explained that she asked Quavo to back her version of the creation of the track.

"I love Quavo, and at the time, on Twitter, I explained how ‘MotorSport’ came about, and you know, people were saying that I was lying," Nicki said. "So I texted Quavo and I said, ‘Hey, just, you know, could you back me up on this because I don’t want people to think I’m lying. What do I have to lie about? And he didn’t back me up... He texted me, and he was like, ‘I would go on Twitter and back you up if you were my girl lol.’ And that hurt, because he’s somebody—I love him."

Quavo also references her relationship with Meek Mill and the Chanel bag video in the song. The details on "Huncho Dreams" should probably be taken with at least a grain of salt, though: Nicki's "Barbie Dreams" and its Biggie Smalls antecedent "Dreams" are about fantasies.
