Not too long ago, Fat Joe announced that he had a full-length album with Dre of duo Cool and Dre on the way titled Family Ties. Now, he's revealed the latest single for the upcoming project with "Attention," which features Chris Brown handling the hook duties.
While Family Ties was originally set to drop earlier this year, it's looking like Joe is finally gearing up to release the long-awaited album. "Attention" isn't the first time Joe and Chris Brown have worked together, with the two previously teaming up on their 2011 track "Another Round." Speaking with Billboard, Joe explained. "It's always an honor to work with Chris. He's just a beautiful talent."
Previously, Joe teased that he was hoping to get JAY-Z on Family Ties, telling HOT 97 all about it. He also mentioned how there was one song in particular on Family Ties that he hopes to perform at Summer Jam. "I got one record on this album that I keep tellin' Dre, I keep dreaming I'm performing at Summer Jam," he explained. "And you know I got energy, I'm a fat guy, but I've got energy."
Dre and Joe previously appeared alongside each other on "Momma," which also featured Big Sean. "Attention" follows "Pick It Up" and "So Excited." Listen to "Attention" above.
