Soulja Boy Wants His Own 'Fortnite' and 'Overwatch' Esports Teams

Soulja Boy tells TMZ he wants his own Esports teams ASAP.

Soulja Boy has an interest in running his own Esports franchise for teams that would compete in Overwatch, Fortnite, Call of Duty, and Counterstrike, (as well as others) by 2019. According to TMZ, the 28-year-old's newly announced gaming related ambition comes less than two weeks after he released a questionable emulator console/handheld on his official website called the SouljaGame Console and the SouljaGame Handheld.

While speaking to TMZ, Soulja Boy said he's close friends with super popular Twitch streamer Ninja, and that Ninja helped him get verified on the watch-people-game platform. He also indicated he'd like to get personalities like Ninja to help in this undertaking, while acknowledging the difficulty of landing him for his team (he's expensive). "We’re gonna be finding talent, hiring talent," Soulja Boy said. He went on to add he's "multitasking, man. Music, tech, everything."
