After establishing a strong presence in the UK drill scene, RV's highly-anticipated album Fresh Prince of Tottenham 2 has finally dropped. This robust soundtrack features a fusion of rap and drill, and boasts collaborations from artists like Headie One, Abracadabra, SJ, and Bandokay—each adding their unique flair to the mix.
RV shared his thoughts on the album with Complex AU, "It's a mix of old and current me. This album gives you a glimpse into my mental and emotional state during its creation." He added, "Music is my therapy. I was happy to get some things off my chest with this project.”
"Play For Keeps" featuring Headie One and Abracadabra is one of the standout tracks, with an accompanying music video directed by Ashwin Noel and Sofia Isabella, and starring Top Boy's Ash Barba.
The track also has a special connection to the Western Sydney clothing brand Geedup. The video not only sees RV, Headie and Abra all decked out in Geedup, but the track’s name itself is a reference to the brand’s tagline: “Play For Keeps, Forever and Always.”
