Rihanna’s Super Bowl performance was nothing short of perfection.

For her 13-minute halftime show, the 34-year-old singer donned a custom Loewe flight-inspired look in a bright crimson red to pair with the stage set. The brand’s creative director, Jonathan Anderson was influenced by flight gear, with the pieces created to “build volume in step with the dynamic scenography of the show,” according to a press release.

“Defying the norm of performers stripping back layers to reveal another, Rihanna approached the reveal in reverse: starting with a simple catsuit layer, the dancers and choreography visibly construct the additional elements during each musical section,” the press release continued.

The outfit encompassed a catsuit made from silk jersey, a sculpted leather corset, and a flight suit made out of a cotton canvas. “I’m so excited to have been part of this unforgettable moment. Rihanna is a true icon, and working with her to bring these stage looks to life feels like a wild, wonderful dream,” Anderson said in a statement.

She also wore a Jacob & Co. Brilliant Skeleton Northern Lights Watch, which retails at $72,000, as well as the Maison Margiela MM6 x Salomon Cross Low collaboration shoes, which you read more about here

In addition to the Loewe look, RiRi also paid homage to her longtime friend, André Leon Talley who passed away in January 2022. As her set came to a close, she sang her hit song “Diamonds” and donned a floor-length red leather Alaïa coat, which looked very much like Talley’s scarlet-colored Norma Kamali sleeping bag coat.

Talley’s coat will be up for auction at Christie’s on Feb. 15, alongside many items from the late Vogue editor’s collection, which also includes pieces from Karl Lagerfeld, Andy Warhol, Chanel, Dapper Dan, and more.
