NBA Tunnel Outfits Week 5

The NBA tunnel before a game has become a runway for players. Nowadays, the outfits worn into the arena garner as much attention as game highlights. People have always paid attention to the sneakers players wear on the court. But now, players need to also make sure they're arriving in a proper fit as well.

This season, we are highlighting 10 of our favorite NBA tunnel fits each week. Guys like LeBron James and Russell Westbrook have become known for their pregame style choices, but there are plenty of other players who should be on your radar.

Whether it's rare sneakers like the Off-White x Air Jordan I, or apparel from popular brands like Aimé Leon Dore and Fear of God, there are plenty of ways for a pregame fit to stand out from the crowd. If you want even more analysis of style around the league this season, make sure to also check out Tunnel Takedown hosted by Racks Hogan, NBA champion Matt Barnes, and creative director Gia Seo airing Wednesdays at 5 p.m. EST.

Jordan Clarkson

Date: Nov. 20

Location: American Airlines Arena (Miami)

Jordan Clarkson isn't afraid to express himself in the tunnel. Earlier this season, he channeled his inner ASAP Rocky and rocked a babushka. For this matchup in sunny Miami, he took advantage of the warmer climate by rocking a pair of swim trunks covered in a print inspired by the James Bond film Dr. No. He keeps it simple up top with a white T-shirt and classic denim jacket combo. The red Chanel bag is an interesting touch that compliments his Tom Sachs x Nike Mars Yard 2.0 on his feet. A true grail sneaker you don't see too often in the tunnel.

Jrue Holiday

Date: Nov. 23

Location: Vivint Smart Home Arena (Salt Lake City)

Jrue Holiday came with the military look for this away matchup in Salt Lake City this past Saturday. The New Orleans Pelicans point guard showed some love to Jerry Lorenzo and Rhuigi Villaseńor with a Rhude camo jacket, Fear of God "FG" logo T-shirt, and olive green FOG Jiujitsu pants. He completes the look with the "Dusty Peach" Nike SB Dunk Low, an under the radar release from 2019, for a bit of contrast.

Frank Jackson

Date: Nov. 23

Location: Vivint Smart Home Arena (Salt Lake City)

Frank Jackson always keeps it simple in the tunnel but does it with some standout pieces. This time, he went with a black Stone Island puffer jacket, an eye-catching pair of Needles track pants covered in leopard print, and the classic "Chicago" Air Jordan Is on feet. His signature black beanie makes an appearance as well.

Trey Lyles

Date: Nov. 23

Location: Madison Square Garden (New York City)

This Trey Lyles fit pieced together some of the biggest collaborations of the past few years but doesn't overdo it. The olive colorway of the Supreme x The North Face Trans-Antarctica Expedition Pullover Jacket from 2017, black pants, and the highly-coveted Travis Scott x Air Jordan I are all on display here. The camouflage Supreme x Louis Vuitton Keepall in hand completes Lyles' fall fit.

Kyle Kuzma

Date: Nov. 22

Location: Chesapeake Energy Arena (Oklahoma City)

Kyle Kuzma's let his accessories shine this week. He paired this all-grey fit with a classic Louis Vuitton monogram bag, LV shades, and one of the most popular luxury sneakers of the year, the Dior B23 High-Top. The Puma logo peaking through on his socks reminds everyone of whose kicks he will be lacing up on the court later tonight.

Kevin Love

Date: Nov. 22

Location: American Airlines Arena (Dallas)

Kevin Love decided to keep it cozy in Dallas last Friday and show some love to Aimé Leon Dore. He paired a turtleneck with some navy sweatpants from the brand's Fall/Winter 2019 collection. A timeless pair of white Air Force 1s is laced up on feet. The standout piece is the Ralph Lauren Purple Label aligator leather duffel bag he is carrying by his side, which sells for around $25,000.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander

Date: Nov. 25

Location: Chesapeake Energy Arena (Oklahoma City)

SGA is no stranger to appearing on this list every week. This past Monday, he impressed us yet again with a mohair flannel from Christos New York, white and red Needles track pants, and gives a subtle nod to LeBron James by rocking the "First Game" Nike Air Zoom Generation.

Austin Rivers

Date: Nov. 22

Location: Staples Center (Los Angeles)

Austin Rivers is clearly a fan of Louis Vuitton. Frequently wearing the luxury brand in the tunnel, he showed up to Staples Center on this particular night in a stealthy all-black fit that included an LV monogram fleece jacket and low-top sneakers designed by Virgil Abloh.

Kemba Walker

Date: Nov. 20

Location: Staples Center (Los Angeles)

Kemba Walker kept the summery trend going by rocking an all-over printed silk shirt from Necessity Sense to the Staples Center. To match the black and green top, he went with the rare "Doernbecher" Air Jordan II that originally released back in 2007.

Carsen Edwards

Date: Nov. 20

Location: Staples Center (Los Angeles)

Kemba Walker wasn't the only Boston Celtics player who rolled up to the Staples Center on Nov. 20 in a good fit. His rookie teammate Carsen Edwards also showed off his style with a blue flannel, vintage T-shirt advertising the Mike Tyson vs. Evander Holyfield mega fight from 1996, Off-White cargo pants, and the OG "Wave Runner" colorway of the Adidas Yeezy Boost 700. The Louis Vuitton keepall is just an added bonus.
