NBA executives recently indicated that LaMelo Ball, the youngest of LaVar's three sons, could be the most coveted player in next year's draft. It's not entirely clear where the 18-year-old NBA hopeful could end up just yet, but LaMelo seemingly offered up a hint of where he's got in mind on his Instagram Story.

Over three posts, LaMelo showed footage of himself in a New York Knicks uniform in NBA 2K20. It's far from a confirmation as to what team he will sign with, but it will certainly encourage even more rumors. As of late September, he's the No. 3 prospect in ESPN's mock 2020 NBA draft, so it's likely a high number of teams would be eager to sign him.

Reactions from NBA and Knicks fans has been mixed, with some keeping their fingers crossed while others have vowed to stop being a fan of the New York team. However, it remains to be seen whether the Knicks can even land LaMelo if he makes No. 1 pick at the NBA draft next year.

"If he keeps this up, I don't see any way he isn't in the conversation for the No. 1 overall pick," an NBA insider explained in September. "He completely changed my perception of the type of prospect he is, and all of the background info I gathered here from his coaches and teammates paint a very different story of what I thought about him off the court as well."

Earlier this year, he signed a two-year contract with Australia's NBL. Despite his bright NBA prospects, his family has been at the center of attention due to LaVar Ball's messy Big Baller Brand company.
