Yesterday afternoon, Nike Store announced via its Twitter account that it would be changing its standard Saturday release time from 8 a.m. EST to 10 a.m. EST, and sneakerheads across the country collectively rejoiced. Not only would they get a little more sleep before starting their weekends, they'd also have new-found free time before trying to score the Jordans, Air Maxes, or whatever they had their eyes on this time around.
But a lot can get done in two hours, too. Not everyone is going to use it to catch some extra Zs. They might take advantage of the pushed-back release time and get into a plethora of other things.
