Julia Fox reportedly had a short-lived fling with Drake about a year before getting together with Kanye West.
Page Six sources say Drake reached out to Fox via Instagram DM to applaud her part in Adam Sandler’s 2019 film Uncut Gems. When she was on the outs with her partner Peter Artemiev, she allegedly reached back out to Drake on IG and the two rendezvoused in New York in February 2020. Insiders say Drake met up with her and a friend at the Bowery Hotel for drinks, and the rapper saw her the next day, as she was doing a promotional job at Bloomingdale’s. A source says the store even shut down for Drake’s visit.
Julia and Drizzy’s tryst apparently didn’t stop there: Fox reportedly flew to Los Angeles for Valentine’s Day and was gifted two Birkin bags by Drake. She reportedly stayed with him at his Toronto mansion, though COVID-19 hindered their plans and she had to get back to the U.S. as they were closing the border.
Fox subsequently got back together with Artemiev and they now share a 1-year-old son, though they’ve gone their separate ways again.
Page Six alleges that Ye “is not thrilled” about Fox’s past with Drake. She and Yeezy met on New Year’s Eve in Miami and have had a whirlwind affair as JuliYe, recently making their red carpet debut at Nigo’s first KENZO fashion show as creative director.
While Kanye and Drake had a longstanding beef, they made up and performed together at the Free Larry Hoover benefit concert in Los Angeles on Dec. 9.
