A new trailer for next year’s Creed III arrived on Tuesday.

When speaking about the sequel and sharing the latest glimpse at what marks his directorial debut, star Michael B. Jordan told fans there is no film that’s been “more personal” to him in his catalog.

Creed III hits theaters on March 3 of next year. See the new trailer above.

Jordan is joined in the cast by Tessa Thompson, Jonathan Majors, Phylicia Rashad, Wood Harris, and Florian Munteanu. As Rocky franchise creator Sylvester Stallone himself announced last April, he will not be appearing in the film.

Speaking with Complex last year, Jordan opened up about his dual role on the latest Creed entry, which will arrive five years after the debut of the Steven Caple Jr.-directed Creed II. At the time, the actor and director described the film as “starting to shape up like an origin story, a trilogy, and a sequel all at the same time.” He also pointed to the “personal” aspects of the story, a facet he returned to (as mentioned above) when rolling out the new trailer this week.

Earlier this year, it was revealed that Michael B. Jordan and Will Smith were teaming up for a sequel to the 2007 hit I Am Legend. Since initial reports on the project surfaced back in March, however, there have been no additional updates on the status of the film.
