It appears that Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly’s relationship is on the rocks, with many online blaming MGK’s guitarist for the couple’s issues.
Peoplereports that the guitarist, Sophie Lloyd has now released a statement about the matter. “Sophie Lloyd is a professional, accomplished musician who has been needlessly dragged into the media based off of meritless accusations made by social media,” her management team told the outlet.
The team added, “Any suggestion that she has ever acted in an unprofessional manner or stepped out of her relationship is untrue. It’s disrespectful to her as a female artist and poor journalism and social commentary to be reporting anything else.”
Lloyd played with Kelly’s band during his Mainstream Sellout Tour last year, and Lloyd has shared photos of her with the artist and his band as recent as three days ago.
Lloyd’s statement follows rumors of Fox and MGK’s breakup after Fox posted a video of her burning an envelope, alongside the caption, “You can taste the dishonesty/It’s all over your breath” from Beyoncé’s Lemonade album cut “Pray You Catch Me.” In the comments of that post, Fox apparently alluded to Kelly cheating on her.
Fox also deleted all photos and videos of her with Kelly, including the post celebrating their engagement in January 2022. She added salt to the wound by unfollowing MGK and following Eminem, with whom MGK has had an ongoing beef. Ultimately, Fox chose to deactivate her account.
On Tuesday, an insider told People that the couple is “speaking and trying to work things out.” They continued, “She was never one to casually date. She is with him because she believes it’s a long-term relationship. She isn’t just gonna give up on their relationship.”
