Though The Weeknd once told Variety that being on The Simpsons was on his bucket list, this isn’t his first foray in the cartoon world. He previously appeared as himself on an episode of American Dad, co-penning an original song, “I’m a Virgin,” for the show.

The Simpsons is known for having a prolific list of celebrities who’ve appeared on the show, such as Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Snoop Dogg, Hannibal Buress, John Mulaney, Benedict Cumberbatch, and many, many more. Back in 2012, we released our list of top 50 Simpsons episodes of all time, and with most of the front-running episodes being in the first ten seasons, our picks haven’t changed much since then.

Later this year, The Weeknd will embark on his After Hours Til Dawn stadium tour with Doja Cat in support of his latest two albums, After Hours and Dawn FM.
