Netflix shared a new Stranger Things Season 4 teaser early Friday.

The clip, which runs less than a minute and was uploaded under the title "From Russia with love," notably includes the reveal of a certain character's fate. If you're a reasonably Netflix-conscious person and simply can't be bothered to watch a 50-second clip at the moment, feel free to read further for what most certainly amounts to a spoiler:

JIM HOPPER, AS MOST FANS HAD ALREADY GUESSED, IS INDEED ALIVE.

Stranger Things 4 is expected to be released at some point this year.

As recently as January, series stars, including Finn Wolfhard, claimed to still be "in the dark" regarding where the new season will take the story.

"I have no idea what happens in the entire season," he told PopSugar. "I talked to a few other cast members. One of them has a script, and the others don't. It's somehow calculated. I don't know how they do it, but I honestly have no idea how it's going to go."

Wolfhard added that the inaugural season of the Netflix hit saw the cast members getting their scripts well in advance, while subsequent seasons employed that method "less and less" as part of the Duffer Brothers' aim at getting more natural performances.

This summer, Stranger Things fans can look forward to seeing Finn in Ghostbusters: Afterlife. Harbour, meanwhile, will appear in April's Black Widow movie alongside Scarlett Johansson and Florence Pugh.
