Kim Kardashian revealed what it's like to raise her kids alongside a newly Christian Kanye West in a new episode of The Real. Kim stopped by the talk show shortly after an episode of her long-running reality series aired that showed the couple arguing over her Met Gala dress.

Kanye objected to the dress being too sexual and Kim shared that the original dress that they were arguing over had faux-nipples to go with its soaked-through look. Kim painted a picture of occassional compromises and choosing her battles.

"I think, at the end of the day, that's what marriage is. He's going to do things that I don't agree with and I support him and vice versa," Kim said on The Real. "With this, it was like we were having this conversation of just what is too much, and I am a mother of four, I am gonna be 40 next year."

She said that the majority of Kanye's Christian objections come through when they are discussing raising their kids. "The kids are getting older, he's very cautious about what we have in the house—we got rid of the TVs in the kids' rooms and removed makeup from North's room," she said. "He's been very...had this epiphany of being this...not that he wasn’t an amazing dad, but being a little bit more strict as a dad and being very forceful on the imagery that's in our household and what they see."

Kim said she agrees with Kanye's stern dad turn, but notes that his admonitions carry little weight when he turns them on her. "I actually agree with it, but I'm always gonna be me," Kim said. "I love that beautiful journey as well, and I think that's such a great example for our kids. But, you know, there's also that fine line of staying firm and doing what you feel comfortable with."
