"Why this dude glowing more than me and he locked up?" That’s a comment from fellow Jersey Shore castmate Vinny Guadagnino in response to a series of photos posted by Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino on Instagram, and it could not be more true.

Even as he serves his eight-month prison sentence for tax evasion, Sorrentino has been able to keep in touch with the outside world, thanks to a "special app" that allows him to speak with friends from a "computer room that he can go to throughout the day." On Saturday, The Situation shared a few photos of himself with his wife Lauren, and fellow Jersey Shore castmates Vinny and Pauly D, accompanied by the caption,  "Tough Times Don’t Last, Tough People Do #FreeSitch."

Sorrentino, who appears to be in good spirits despite the circumstances, is in what has turned out to be a star-studded prison (the Federal Correctional Institution, Otisville in New York), as inmates includes Billy McFarland, the man behind the now infamous Fyre Festival, and according to Guadagnino, "the guy that leaked Jennifer Lawrence's nudes, that hacked her phone." Michael Cohen, the former lawyer for Donald Trump, is also expected to serve his three-year sentence in that same prison.

Sorrentino is expected to be released on September 12.
