Months after the initial preview, fans wereĀ left wondering when the record would get an official release. It wasnāt until this week when Quavo took to social media to provide a quick update on the track, which he confirmed was still on the way.

You can check out the music video for āShooters Inside My Cribā now up top via YouTube and stream the track below. The song will likely land on Quavoās long-awaited follow-up toĀ Quavo Huncho, his debut solo album that arrived back in 2018. The 30-year-old rapper has yet to announce an official release date for his next effort, but previously told Complex that it would arrive sometime in 2022.
Quavo briefly spoke about his next project during his and Yung Miamiās interview back in October, revealing it would offer something a little different than Migosā Culture III album, which dropped in June 2021.
āA lot of melodies. [Migos] tended to put a lot of rap records on our albums, onĀ Culture IIIĀ this year,ā he explained.Ā āAnd we kind of missed some of that Kelly Price-type of vibes, some of them old melodic vibes. So thatās where I probably will come in. Of course, Iām going to hit them folks some of them āStraighteningāĀ records, but more melodies.ā
The track arrivesĀ just days after the fifth anniversary of Migosā CultureĀ and fourth anniversary of Culture II.
