Gucci Mane has welcomed rapper named Brezden to his record label, 1017 Global Music.

On Tuesday, Guwop took to his Instagram with a post of his newest signee to his label, and in the video shared on IG, Gucci presented him with a brand new diamond-encrusted 1017 chain to cement the signing officially.

Brezden was excited about the jewelry piece and had Gucci put it around his neck before embracing him with a hug. According to his Soundcloud, he is from Chattanooga, Tennessee. He has been establishing a footing with his viral track "White Ferrari," which Gucci promoted in his caption.

"Y'all welcome my new artist @brezdn to #TheNew1017 this MF so hard !!!!!!! Y'all go follow him!! Click link in bio to hear his new song WHITE FERRARI," Gucci wrote.

Gucci Mane is no stranger to signing new artists to his label, which started with So Icey Entertainment in 2007. Throughout his career, Guwop has brought on several artists to his label that went through various changes (1017 Brick Squad, 1017 Eskimo). But he also has a history with those signees not living up to their potential, whether personal issues or legal troubles keeping them from doing so.

In 2020, Gucci Mane officially named his label 1017 Global Music and continued to add new talent to the mix. So far, Gucci has signed FoogianoPooh Shiesty, the late Big Scarr, and more. A series of compilation albums from the label were released between 2020 and 2022 under the title So Icy with the latest project (So Icy Boyz: The Finale) dropping last December.

Gucci Mane has his sights set on another artist to join the 1017 crew. In an Instagram post earlier this month, Gucci Mane shared his appreciation for country singer Oliver Anthony's "Rich Men North of Richmond," and suggested that he was eager to sign him to his 1017 imprint.

"Aye fam I need y'all help on this one I'm trying sign these guys as my first country artists to 1017!!!" wrote Gucci alongside a screenshot of the song on Apple Music. "I need the info asap."
