Drake is the latest big-name star to visit Bun B at his new Trill Burgers pop-up restaurant in Houston, Texas, and has claimed the main food item is "the best burger I've ever had."
The 6 God took to his Instagram Story on Monday to document his quick trip to the Bun's new restaurant that opened at the top of the month. In his video, Drizzy sat across from Bun, telling fans about the man he calls his "mentor."
"I don't like to use the term OG, this is one of my mentors. One of my favorite people in the world," the OVO boss said before Bun hyped up his friend by saying, "We get a couple of big deals in here every now and then. Maybe not this big, but we do get some big deals."
Drake then asked his "mentor" to drop the address for those looking to grab a bite at the restaurant. He then claimed Bun's new business venture is "the best burger I've ever had."
The current location of Trill Burgers — 3607 South Shepherd Drive — opened its doors earlier this month and will serve as an extended pop-up for six months while Bun and his team lock in a permanent spot. Celebrities such as Ludacris, Slim Thug, former Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson, and more have stopped by the restaurant since its opening.
Before opening the first Trill Burgers brick-and-mortar shop, Bun took his popular food item to festivals and several culinary-based events across the country.
"We've been working a long time for the opportunity to be able to serve you guys," he said during Trill Burgers' initial opening. "Took a lot of hard work, a lot of planning. Most importantly, a lot of support from people like you in order for us to get where we are right now. It's been a dream for us and it's actually coming true. We are now actually ready to serve you guys food on a daily basis."
