Missy Elliott took a trip down memory lane after "The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly)" was named the greatest hip-hop music video of all time by Rolling Stone.

Missy recalled going to a nearby gas station in Brooklyn to inflate the iconic patent leather blow-up suit, then being forced to walk back to set because the outfit prevented her from getting in the car.

It appears anyone driving past her that day got to see the outfit in all its glory because the glasses were also on her head. "Dem ppl was riding pass like she must be high," she recalled.

As some eagle-eyed viewers may have noticed, Missy confirmed that the suit deflated by the time she got returned from the gas station, but she clearly made it work.

Missy Elliott will continue to receive her flowers later this year when she's inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. The "Get Ur Freak On" artist, who was the first female rapper nominated, will be part of a 2023 class that includes Kate Bush, George Michael, Willie Nelson, Rage Against the Machine, and Sheryl Crow.
