After dropping off the original version of More Black Superheroes this summer, Westside Boogie has delivered the deluxe.
The expanded edition of the record features three fresh tracks, and three live versions of others. “Killa Mode” with Storm Ford, “Nonchalant” with Mami, and “Cant Even Lie” with Soulja Boy get live renditions, while Rapsody and Alex Isley appear on new song “Halfway Right.” The original album was already relatively star-studded, boasting collaborations with the likes of Shelley FKA DRAM, Snoop Dogg, Smino, and Teezo Touchdown.
In the lead-up to the release of the deluxe edition this week, Boogie expressed gratitude to his fans for the support they’ve offered him in 2022.
“Y’all made sure I had a great year,” he wrote. “I put out an album I’ve overly proud of...my kid healthy...now let’s do it even bigger next time around so they can’t overlook us.”
To coincide with the release of the record, Boogie has also lined up a video for “Nonchalant.”
