As he gears up to release his sophomore album, Compton rapper Westside Boogie taps Shelley FKA DRAM for his new single “Aight.”

The new track, which arrives alongside a music video, marks the first new material from Boogie since 2020’s “Outside.” 

“Just lost a brodie in a dice game/Don’t worry ‘bout it, shit is life mayne,” Boogie raps on the opening verse. “N***a don’t you leave that’s on God, give me time mayne/Got this little cheese and I’ma pick her for my side thang.”

Boogie took to Instagram early Friday morning to celebrate the release of his new single, writing, “Before I get too deep in this album roll out imma tell how grateful I am y’all stuck with me through this process.”

He continued, “Shit is impossible without y’all ..last couple years been wild in a good and bad way we’ll get to that later tho I love the shit out y’all ..1st song off album out Now.”

Boogie’s forthcoming full-length offering will serve as the official follow-up to his 2019 debut LP Everythings for Sale, which featured guest appearances from 6lack, J.I.D., Snoh Aalegra, Christian Scott, and Shady Records boss Eminem, who appeared on the previously released cut “Rainy Days.”
