Earlier this year, Kanye West was named the highest-paid act in hip-hop due to the success of Yeezy. A few tumultuous months and one gospel album later, Ye has landed No. 2 overall on Forbes' list of the world's highest-earning musicians. With a reported $150 million in earnings for 2019, Kanye was only beaten on the list by Taylor Swift, who took in an estimated $185 million this year alone.

There's not too many surprises in the rest of the list, but the top twenty is rounded out by a number of Ye's collaborators. At No. 3 is Ed Sheeran with $110 million, while the Eagles made $100 million, and Elton John $84 million. JAY-Z and Beyoncé tied at No. 6 for $81 million, while Drake and Diddy aren't that far behind at $75 million and $70 million respectively. Just after at No. 10 is Metallica at $68.5 million, which can be attributed to their extensive touring throughout the year.
