It can be hard to pinpoint who is on top in Atlanta's constantly shifting mass of tastemakers and hip-hop weirdos. But the Tonight Show definitely landed the king of rap in Tupelo, MS when Swae Lee stopped by with Mike Will Made-It and Young Thug in tow.

The trio were there to perform their (incredible) track "Fate" off of the still burning soundtrack to Creed II that Mike Will put together. While we were hopeful for a possible swing at "Offshore" from the Swae-portion of Sr3mm, Fallon had other guests to get to. John Oliver wasn't gonna deal with being bumped. Take a look at their performance up top.

Swae Lee has been pulling the full Quavo recently, turning up in all ways alongside just about any rapper you can name. From ascendant party starters like Lil Pump to people like Post Malone, Swae's found time for everybody. He even popped up on the beat of the moment alongside Tyga.

Swae is building to the release of his solo EP. In a since-deleted tweet, the rapper shard that he's getting ready to share his first-ever fully solo release (as opposed to the Speakerboxx/The Love Below route that the group went on their last, sprawling album). That might seem like a lot, but Lee explained that he packs all of his work into nighttime studio sessions in a recent chat with Interview.

"The studio is the reason I've been missing all these breakfasts," he said. "I roll up there with two bad bitches and a couple bodyguards depending on if it's a high-security studio. I like to have a slumber party in there, going through an ounce, making music with the greatest producer in the world, Mike Will Made-It."
