Travis Scott took over the desert with his jaw-dropping Coachella performance on Saturday.
La Flame, who had a hand in curating the festival's design, took over the main stage for a heart-pumping and gravity-defying set at Coachella’s Main Stage.
The high-octane set was complete with a marching band from Jackson State and Florida A&M universities playing along to hits like “Sicko Mode” and “Fe!n,” plus death-defying dancers who were suspended in the air during "Stargazing."
Scott also got in on the action as he came down from a wall while performing “Skyfall.”
In another unexpected moment, Scott performed a mashup of “Modern Jam” with Drake and Partynextdoor’s “Nokia” on a massive rising platform. The performance is seemingly inspired by a fan-made mashup that went viral in February.
“With Coachella, that’s something I’ve always wanted to headline. I was supposed to do it and unfortunately it didn’t happen. So it’s cool to be able to come back and do it, but do it at this level now, where I’m headlining Saturday and I’m taking it over through my lens,” Scott told Complex for his April 2025 cover story.
“I've also been trying to figure out how to get the production levels to where you can do the illest shit, where it's not so expensive," he continued. "Artists like us, we get fucking choked up the wall to create these ideas we do. So it's always been a challenge. But that's what motivates me. Like, how can I create these experiences without breaking my back to do it? As far as the bread, at least."
Scott previously hinted on his X account to spending $12 million on the production of his Coachella set while pointing to a lyric from his verse on Playboi Carti’s “Charge Dem Hoes a Fee” off his Music album.
